For week 12 of 2023 I bring you volume 49. See artwork for track names. Basically it is more of the same, a skip around the history of recorded music. Enjoy!
I'm abandoning posting the whole thing as one MP3 because it is eating up too much of my mediafire space posting the mix in two forms. In looking at the stats it looked like more people download the file with the songs broken out vs the single MP3 file.
For week 11 of 2023 I bring you volume 48. This grab bag of tracks leans more in the 30+ years old area. There are a few tracks more recent than that, but not many. This one is definitely more in the distant past. Enjoy!
For week 9 of 2023 I bring you volume 46. I think one of the unique things about this collection of songs is that I end with a couple long jazz pieces. The Duke Ellington number at the end it pretty epic. Enjoy!
For week 8 of 2023 I bring you volume 45. This mix starts with music from the last 30-40 years and then progressively gets older for the most part. Of course I through in some left turns here and there to keep it interesting. There is middle section with several live recordings back to back as well. Enjoy!
For week 7 of 2023 I bring you volume 44. This mix has vinyl records i digitized in recent years, such as the tracks by Kweskin & The Jug Band and Celeste and the Judy Garland track. I've got a lot of tracks from the 90s and 2010s. I had listened to and dusted off some CDs I had not listened to in years to pick some of the tracks for this mix. Enjoy!
For week 6 of 2023 I bring you volume 43. This one has a nice run of some jazz tracks. There are also some pop tracks from the last few years. Other than that there is the usual breadth of music ranging from Cookie Monster to The Clash. Enjoy!
Happy New Year everyone! This past fall I've been steadily working on new volumes in this series with the hope of releasing a new volume every week up through the end of summer when I will post the 2023 Halloween mix. That is the hope at least, so we'll see how it goes. So enjoy this next installment and if all goes well, I should have another one posted in a week.
