Hold Music Volume 44

SAP Music Halloween Mix 2022

Happy Halloween everyone!  

This year I gave myself the challenge of doing a mix that consists entirely of film scores, SFX and dialogue clips from films or trailers.  I wanted to do a mix that was all about mood a creepiness and didn't have any songs.  There is nothing with lyrics this year.  It was a fun challenge and I feel like the result is creepy and different.  It reminds me of the year I did a Halloween mix of only Ennio Morricone music.  That was more straightforward than what I did this year for sure.  This involved a lot more ripping of audio from DVDs and Blu-rays and then watching and listening to quite a few movies to find clips.  It was a lot of work, but I feel pretty proud of the end result.  Hope those of you who listen enjoy is as well.

Hold Music Volume 37

This volume 37 installment concludes the big run of songs I put together earlier this spring.  At this point in the long, long playlist I was really just cleaning house and throwing everything I had wanted to get out into this last chunk.  It was more or less clearing the decks to start setting tracks aside for new mixes.  I was also thinking ahead that I new I wanted to get this all out of my system so that I could start thinking about Halloween, which I knew was going to be a big undertaking this year.  Stay tuned for this year's mix.  It is going to be a new approach, one that did take a lot more work than usual to put together this year.  That will be coming very soon. 

This playlist runs about an hour and thirty-seven minutes.
