SAP Music Christmas Mix 2018
Merry Christmas everyone. It is time again for this year's mix. This year was a bit of a scramble in terms of pulling this year's mix together. I started very late in the Fall and I made the decision to only use music that I had digitized from records. And to give myself even more work, the majority of the songs were from records I purchased just in the last month during a shopping spree at Amoeba. So I pretty much didn't rely on all the digital music I had been throwing into a folder all year round or anything from the many Christmas CD's I picked up at yard sales and thrift stores this year. The good news is that it gives me a jump on next year.
Because of the last minute scramble and because I gave myself the vinyl only rule, there isn't a lot in the way of layering in movie clips or commercials or some of the other fun stuff I usually try and sprinkle through these mixes. This year, it is a little more straight ahead. I hope everyone enjoys it. Tracks are listed on the artwork.
Merry Christmas!

Thanks! Merry Christmas!
Looks good, thanks for sharing! I'd spend way too much money if I had an Ameoba anywhere nearby.
Any Christmas comp which includes Amos Milburn's "Christmas (Comes But Once A Year)" is worth looking into! Thanks.
As always, I love your compilations, especially the vinyl only ones! Thank you for doing this for us.
Thanks for all of the music comps, I just discovered your site recently. Did any other commenter not notice in the entire span of a year that the last 4 tracks listed on the insert are not actually in the archive? Once again, thanks.
Wow, I don't know how that happened and that no one up to this point has pointed that out. I have fixed this and uploaded a corrected .zip file.
All the various Christmas mixes can be found here.

Thanks for all of your hard work but there appears to be an error within track "24. Singing Sleigh Bells - The Mexicali Brass", which stops playing at 1:58 in both the corrected zip and the original upload.
Explanation:
Foobar - Decoding failure at 1:58.235 (Unsupported format or corrupted file)
Winamp - Freezes Winamp program at around the same time.
REAPER (A digital audio workstation) - At 1:58.283 it plays silence & displays silence in the readout. Strangely, some data appears to be present past this point but it visually flickers in and out when using the Zoom function. Even after successfully decoding the file to WAV format it will end abruptly at 1:58.
In conclusion: There seems to be small area of the file that is corrupted but is causing a serious degree to its operation of playback and even file tags.
Thanks again
Hopefully the third time is a charm. I have replaced that track and re-uploaded the archive.
