Enoch Light and His Orchestra - Rome 35 MM - 1964

I have a few Enoch Light records. Some are better than others. This one I think is great. As you can tell from the title and cover these are all Italian songs. Many of which are instantly recognizable and here they are given a fun Enoch Light treatment. "O Sole Mio" and Arrivederci Roma", "Non Dimenticar" all get fun new renditions here with a little bit of a romanticized 60's tourist flavor.

If you're into the whole easy listening loungy type thing, this is a pretty outstanding album. Every song is a gem and would sound great in a "swinging bachelor pad". If you're not a bachelor, hey, it still works as fun mood music for an evening eating Italian or settling down with some coffee table book about Italy.

Enjoy!
