I'll admit it right up front. "The War Song" is far from Culture Club's best song. In fact there are many non hits that I like more than this song. The reason for the post is more to share the B-Side that has the chorus in Spanish. I figure maybe not everyone has heard that version. I don't know if it is on CD anywhere. If you know, let me know.The song itself is a little cheesy. The lyrics aren't very sophisticated. They kind of sound like kids on a playground.

People are stupid
Not exactly Bob Dylan when it comes to protest songs, but it is more danceable. I don't know if that is a good or a bad thing when trying to make a plea for peace.

I'd love to hear that police song in some of those other languages.
I also thought you might like to know I came across a Cri-Cri CD this past weekend and I bought it. Now I'm able to enjoy 22 Cri-Cri classics. I love it.
